PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Charge point operators often face the challenge of efficiently and economically managing many charge points distributed across a wide area.

In addition to technical management and maintenance, the main considerations are cost-effective energy procurement, controlled power output to the charging vehicles, and exact billing and invoicing. Bosch provides charge point operators and companies that have their own charging infrastructure with an easily integrated and intuitively operable solution for all of these activities.

The customizable cloud-based charge point management service makes it possible to remotely monitor multiple charge points and control them from a central location. The smart system ensures the utmost flexibility to optimally distribute energy to the individual charge points and enables a variety of use cases and new service offerings, such as ancillary services and preferred charging of specific vehicles.

PRODUCT FEATURES

Bosch provides charge point operators and companies that have their own charging infrastructure with an easily integrated and intuitively operable charge point management solution.

Hardware agnostic

The system is hardware-independent. Charging stations that support the OCPP (“Open Charge Point Protocol”) can be quickly and easily connected to the network. Automatic updates from the cloud ensure that protocols and software are always up-to-date.

Load management including smart charging

Charge point operators can manage and adapt loads to their individual needs with configurable parameters. Based on the selected parameters, the system then uses smart algorithms to ensure optimal energy distribution to each of the charge points.

Easy integration

The cloud-based charge point management is a scalable solution that can be easily integrated into existing local energy and building management systems.

Maximum flexibility

Point of Common Coupling (PCC) is a virtual point which combines a set of charging stations. Each PCC can be addressed individually by the energy management system, enabling diverse models of power allocation.
