PRODUCT OVERVIEW

RideCare insight offers a connected AI-powered service that provides you with real-time information about the interior and exterior condition of your vehicle.​

The RideCare device is installed in the vehicle and detects cigarette smoke, external damage to the vehicle and harsh driving behavior. By avoiding these incidents, you can reduce the downtime of your vehicles and increase their resale value. In addition, you can be sure to meet occupational safety requirements for your drivers and contribute to greater safety on the road.​

The service features detecting smoke, damage and harsh driving behavior can be used individually or in combination. They can be extended or adapted at any time via over-the-air updates.​

RideCare insight compares the initial state of the vehicle with the state after each shift and thus documents new damage. Based on all collected event data from the fleet, RideCare insight provides an indication of the condition of the body and wear parts for each vehicle. On this basis, fleet managers can assess the need to replace wear parts. A timely replacement of wear parts leads to a better vehicle preservation and increases the residual value. If desired, RideCare insight can directly prepare a cost estimation for necessary repairs.

The RideCare device detects smoke inside the vehicle. With the help of an intelligent algorithm for detecting smoke patterns, the time and duration of smoking is reported. Thus, a smoke-free workplace can be guaranteed for all drivers and the resale value of the vehicle can be increased.

In the event of external damage to the vehicle, the RideCare device uses sensor measurements of the vehicle dynamics to classify damage into different groups: heavy, significant or cosmetic. In addition to the severity of the damage, the GPS location where the damage occurred, and the exact time of the damage event are also recorded.

Harsh driving detection

The AI solution detects abrupt braking, strong acceleration and cornering. In addition, underbody damage is detected. The events can be mapped to the corresponding shift, which makes it possible to identify harsh drivers and thus reduce the risk of accidents.
